For all flight-fanatics who’d love to see the spectacular landscapes of Gabon from the sky, we have good news. Together with the National Park Authorities from Gabon we have created a flight programme in which you get to see all four of Gabon’s national parks: Loango National Park, Lopé National Park, Ivindo National Park and Pongara National Park. We get exclusive rights to fly over these four parks and also to get a sundowner in Pongara National Park. From your helicopter you’ll have the perfect view of the coastline of Gabon, as well as of some of the best parks in all of Gabon. By traveling by helicopter we’ll be able to see mountains, lagoons, waterfalls, rivers, forests and if we’re lucky even animals. This is the best way to get an exclusive look at the country’s diversity.

We will get you at your hotel around 1.30 and bring you to the airport of Libreville, where we will go on board of the helicopter. Our flying safari will go towards Ivindo National Park first where we’ll see the magnificent Kongou Falls, we’ll then continue to fly to Lopé National Parks with views of the Ogooué River and Mount Brazza. We will then continue our way to Loango National Park with its pristine coastline and lagoons.The park is famous for the animals visiting the beach. Especially the surfing hippos of Loango NP are well documented, but one can also see elephants, buffaloes and even leopards strolling the beach. We will make a stop here and have a half hour stroll on the beach with a drink.

We will then board the chopper again and follow the coastline to the beautiful park of Pongara, where we will have a sundowner observing the sunset. After dinner, you will have a night in the luxury lodge of Pongara and the morning after you can get an optional buggy safari and see animals such as buffaloes and elephants, followed by breakfast after which you can relax on the beach or at the pool. After lunch we’ll bring you back to Libreville by boat and to your hotel.
