Cruise ship tours Libreville

Our agency in Libreville welcomes all cruise ship passengers, whether it is on a private basis, or whether it is in groups. Gabon is still largely unknown among cruise ships and has plenty of potential for cruises which are passing by the coast and are looking for shore excursions for  one or more days in Libreville.

Our DMC team at Libreville has plenty of experience in handling large cruise ship excursions and we have worked with large groups, both midrange and luxury ships, meaning we know the drill and how to handle everything from A to Z.

For smaller cruise ships with 100 to 200 passengers, we can have an à-la-carte-menu in which passengers choose one of our shorex activities in Libreville. Since Gabon is an eco-destination and still has limited infrastructure, not all destinations can handle large cruise groups, that’s why for large cruise ships of 200 - 300 passengers and more, we offer a formula at Pointe-Denis, in which clients can book a basic package with access to the beach, a luxurious three-course buffet and a welcome drink. We have professional English speaking staff which can host your guests. Guests can then add one of several shore excursions at Pointe-Denis such as a sand buggy safari in which you can see elephants, buffaloes and more; a whale watching tour (June to September); a mangrove exploration; a walking safari; or jetski. For large groups we use a rotation system in which clients can have the chance to participate in all activities.  Pointe-Denis  has a pier and can receive tender such as Zodiacs.

Pointe-Denis is a coastal gem just about 30 minutes by boat from Libreville and it offers a tranquil escape where the Atlantic meets lush mangrove forests and pristine beaches. It is known for its powdery white sands, leatherback turtles, forest elephants, humpback whales and other wildlife. With our basic package you will have access to our beach lounge including a three-course buffet, a welcome drink and pool-access as well as the beach of course. We also offer safari-activities such as our sand-buggy safari experience with the possibility to see elephants, buffaloes and more. We also offer unique mangrove-exploration by boat which introduces the beauty of the mangrove and an introduction to the local wildlife.

Advised to limit to 45 pax per activity. Activities are about 1 hour and can be rotated multiple times a day.

Basic Package includes:
- Boat transfer: both ways
- Bus transfer
- Welcome drink
- Buffet
- Beach access
- Canoeing, ping pong, pool, beach volley etc available

Extra to be added:
- Sand buggy safari, starting from 5 pax
- Mangrove exploration, 15 pax per boat:
- Jetski, hourly rate

Important! All activities have to be booked well ahead of time, due to the limited infrastructure. Our Libreville agency can handle large cruise ships as long as this is booked in time, especially Pointe-Denis.
